• The Director Engineering is a level management role that provides operational leadership, support and guidance to development staff members inclusive of working to optimize teams and individuals\' skillsets to deliver the best quality software that furthers company goals. The Director will also partner with other technical and business functions across Elixir, involved in product strategy and governance, making the right and balanced technical decisions that consider delivery code, predictability and above all, business values.\r\n\r\nIn this role, you will act as a technical leader, developer, adviser, troubleshooter and analyst, and draw on your broad knowledge of software development to assist with a wide variety of technical challenges. A flexible mindset, good communication skills and a willingness to collaborate with other directors and engineers are also important. You will work with product managers, designers, security, technical support and quality assurance teams to help all these groups overcome technical obstacles and drive our Elixir products to greater success.\r\n\r\nThe ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering complex software projects to the market, excellent organizational and communication skills, strong leadership skills, and be innovative. The candidate should also have an advanced degree in computer science or a related field of study.
